We Made a Midterm Ballot for the NFL

Week 9 By John Lytle

The midterm elections are today.

In the NFL, the midterms come every season in the form of the trade deadline. The trade deadline lands a week after the midterm elections on Tuesday, November 10. This is when teams take a look internally halfway through their season and decide if they want to make a push to win now, or dump some assets to build for the future. Already we’ve seen blockbuster trades: the Titans saw the writing on the wall and traded All-Pro Defensive Tackle Jeffrey Simmons to the Chicago Bears for two first-round picks.

Unlike the midterms, these changes around the trade deadline are decided by owners, not the fans, so at PRESNAP, we wanted to give the power back to the fans, and make our own midterm ballot for the NFL. We’re giving you an opportunity to voice your concerns and “vote” on some of the biggest questions looming around the NFL today. Who is the MVP? Who needs to get fired? Who should get benched? Who’s a bust? Who’s an asshole?

Vote today at thenflmidterms.com. Voting closes at midnight.
